Finishing
Most students that take my workshops don’t completely finish their compositions during class. This is most notably true of quilt artists as the quilting process is a very time consuming but even painters rarely get the edges finished or framing completed.
Finishing happens after class is over so I rarely see the completed artwork.
So I’m always thrilled when a student shares their finished class work with me.
Yesterday I showed you Lou Ann Smith’s artwork from Working in a Series as it appeared when class was over. Today you get to see the finished work.
They look fabulous! Her quilting really brings these alive and I am excited to share them with my blog readers!
